“You are a revolution. The entire universe has been waiting for you.” – Kiana Azizian Recently, someone reached out to me on Instagram about my new tattoo. She told me how seeing mine was stirring her to want to go and get hers soon. I asked what she was going to get done, and she...
I needed to read something like this. Ive been struggling a bit seeing others succeed while I still continue to struggle but thank you for showing me its part of the journey. When I started my business you were one of my biggest inspirations and you continue to kick ass and prove why. Thanks so much for sharing this xxReplyCancel
Hi Zoe! I am so glad my journey spoke to you, and I appreciate you taking the time to read it! It’s so hard these days to not look at other people and compare (especially with social media. And I do it all the time!). But just remember that things are never what they actually seem as social media is a highlight reel. The struggle will always be part of the journey. I truly don’t believe in “making it” because I think, as long as we want to keep growing as a human, it’s always a process and every new level has new struggles. Trust me! I’ve cried even recently over it. So keep pushing and pursuing your passion! It’s worth every second! I’m grateful I can be an inspiration and never ever hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions! Thank you for your love! xo ReplyCancel
Everything about this day was perfect! I’m sure you’re looking at that first rain-drenched photo thinking, “yea sure Jessica. Perfect…” along with an eye roll. But I swear! The rain just made it even better! Of course, could you imagine leaving your hotel before your intimate wedding ceremony to go take photos in pouring rain?...
This wedding is just insanely beautiful! What an epic couple to be willing to get a bit wet on their day! The backdrop of the lake and the forest is just so emotive and filled with love! I hope a lot of recently engaged couples in Colorado look at your work and choose you as their photographer!ReplyCancel
Wow that is such an adventurous Colorado wedding! They are a beautiful and daring couple, loved the shot at the edge of the rock.xx, Kusum | http://www.sveeteskapes.comReplyCancel
This last year was nothing short of a huge learning experience for me both personally and professionally. It was one of those years where anything and everything that could go wrong did. From car accidents, to slow seasons with financial hardship, to lost relationships and situational depression, it was a year that put me in...
Oh my LORD! What an amazing year of images, and you’ve had so many fun, gorgeous adventures this past year! (Take me with you!?!) However, I do know what you mean about it being a tough year. I spent the first half of mine recovering from a major accident that shattered my SHOOTING shoulder and arm. But, we rise, girl. We rise, and we conquer. And man did you!! You found a lot of beauty in this tough year, my friend. (I did find myself stopping and staring a little harder at your photos of your best friend’s wedding in Banff – it’s a bucket list location for me (my husband’s been, but I haven’t!). You do BEAUTIFUL work!) I hope 2018 is a rockin’ year for you!!!ReplyCancel
It sounds like 2017 was a year of ups and downs for you but wow you did some really AMAZING weddings and they were all so different. Each one was absolutely stunning. You are a very talented wedding photographer. I loved reading about your personal adventures as well. Can’t wait to see what 2018 brings for you.ReplyCancel
When Mary contacted me over a year ago, she had her heart set on a Colorado elopement. Something small, simple, with just their immediate family in attendance. And more than anything, she wanted fall colors and spectacular views. Living in Arizona, they weren’t sure exactly when to time the elopement for the fall colors, but...
