Steph & Jon – Monument Valley Elopement – Adventure Elopement Photographer

We planned Steph and Jon’s Monument Valley elopement less than a month ahead of time. Steph was waiting to see if she was accepted into nursing school, and once she was it was full steam ahead! These two are no strangers to exploring new places and traveling long distances. If you look at Steph’s instagram you will see a record of all the amazing adventures they’ve had together throughout their relationship. So when picking a place for their elopement, they chose a bucket list location they had yet to visiting, fitting for their life together.

We arrived in Moab a day early as it’s one of the closest cities to Monument Valley. Here, Steph & Jon explored Arches National Park with me and exchanged letters they had written to one another. The next day we drove to Monument Valley where we met with our tour guide to scope the park and find the perfect spot to say “I do.” The guide was quick to suggest the overlook and Steph fell in love with it as soon as she saw it exclaiming, “This is it!” Watching Steph and Jon exchange the vows they had written for one another the day before at Delicate Arch was nothing short of magical. It was unique. It was true to who they are as a couple and individually. It was magic!
