Lindsay & Garrett – Gorrono Ranch – Telluride Wedding Photographer

This past winter Colorado seemed like it would never get snow. Mountain towns were brown and ski resorts were doing all they could to create snow on their runs. Lindsay, my bride, said to me during her last walk-through in January, “Just pray we get some snow!” Well clearly her prayers were answered. On March 18th, I opened my blinds from my hotel room in Telluride to sheets of white and snowflakes sprinkling down. It was magical and made for a wedding no one would ever forget. Guests rode a snowcat in the winter wonderland up the mountain to about 10,000 feet, stopping at Gorrono Ranch. I tried to convince Lindsay and Garrett to still keep their ceremony outdoors for selfishly creative reasons. However, she thoughtful moved it indoors for her guests where they could keep warm by the fire and sip on some hot chocolate. It was truly the perfect winter wedding.
