Christen & Nick – Adventure Climbing Wedding – Colorado Elopement Wedding Photographer
If there is anything I strive for in everything I do, it’s to get myself outside, adventure and consistently push outside of my comfort zone so I’m creating better, stronger and more passionately. So when Christen and Nick told me they wanted to climb for their day-after adventure session, I was ALL IN! I started climbing in 2015, and it has been a journey that has always challenged me. People say that it should come naturally with my ballet background. However, the true challenge for me in climbing is the mental game, a big reason why I continue to do it regardless of how poorly. This is why I knew I had to take on this photoshoot challenge. And let me tell you…it did not disappoint! I do not have the words for what I felt during and what I feel now after this shoot. It was a whirlwind, top-roping a 5.11b (the hardest route I’ve ever climbed), anchoring into the wall 70 feet above the ground and hanging there for a couple hours while I watched and captured these two doing what they love! Christen & Nick, thank you so so much for sharing your love of the outdoors and adventure with me and for trusting me to capture you in your element. I adore your kindred hearts!
These are wonderful! Great job. The one where groom is “spirerman” kissing her is breathtaking! ❤️❤️
