Took a little break from all the weddings and had the amazing privilege to photograph the Gabel family. Breanne is a fantastic wedding planner that has become a great friend of mine (check out her website here), and I have loved watching her little family grow. Cash is 6 months here, and I cannot wait to do his one year session. He had me smiling the entire time! Happy little man!

Check out their maternity session as well.

There is something to be said for a wedding that not only touches your heart but reaches into your soul. This wedding opened my eyes in many ways. It challenged my spiritual walk with God, pushing me to seek him more. It showed me the way love is supposed to be, unselfish and unconditional. And left me wanting to pursue giving and receiving real love, both from God and in life. A truly humbling experience. It is amazing what two peoples’ love for God and for each other can do in the lives of those around them. I will never ever forget Beth & Adam’s wedding and will always be grateful for having the precious opportunity to be a part of it! See their engagement session here.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues,
they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man, I put the ways of childhoodbehind me.

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

(1 Corinthians 13:4-13)
